Imagine stepping into a large common area, going into a spacious room, dropping your bags next to your bed, and waking up to a sunrise over the cloud line at dawn.
If we viewed air travel through the lens of a good night’s sleep, any journey could take much longer. Online checkin apps, long queues, baggage delays, cramped airplanes & the need for speed make the entire air travel process insanely stressful.
I have been looking into all of the projects that are building blimps & the companies that plan to charter them.
To begin with, it will be a luxury experience, but I hope that changes.
Silently gliding above the clouds with a huge open deck for viewing would be such a magical way to see the world. I think there would be a decent market for a flying experience that prioritised silence over speed.
