A lot of people do not understands nerds’ fascination with space.
It is simple: we learn from our teachers, the science fiction creators.
Our religious texts are the Foundation Series from Isaac Asimov.
He told us what to do. We are doing it.
The concept of a Dyson Sphere is alien to most—but common among nerds.
We want to envelop the sun in energy absorbption systems.
Then we can harness starts for abundant energy & deep space exploration.
To do so will elevate humanity on the Kardashev Scale—our score board for how humanity is performing.
Humans convert sunlight into insight.
We capture sunlight from the past in the form of oil.
We stream it into our cars using solar panels & batteries.
Our next step is obvious: directing sunlight where we want it.
