I understand software through usage.
When it comes to crypto, that means risk.
Whenever I use a new dapp or wallet, I put enormous sums of money into it. This helps me see reality more clearly because I have funds there that matter to me.
I almost died recently.
I am not saying how.
It made me realise there was a risk I was not preparing for properly: death.
If I die, I want all of my crypto to be shared among my family, my community & my country.
Family: Let my brothers choose their path.
Community: Let my investors & Ethereans choose theirs.
Country: Let the taxes be paid to California, America, England & South Africa
That is my will.
Now I needed a trust.
There are two options: lawyers or Ethereans.
I picked the latter: A SAFE
What is a SAFE?
A multisig.
What is a multisig?
A multisignature wallet.
What is a multisignature wallet?
A wallet that requires multiple signatures before it can submit a transaction to the Ethereum blockchain.
In other words, a group wallet.
What is a group wallet?
My favourite term for this technology.
How can I get one?
Should I get one?
Yes. Now.
Could also combine this with a dead man's switch eg. Something like https://sarcophagus.io are building.
I’m curious why South Africa? I’m in SA
