JankyMask for Safari macOS & iPadOS
If you have an M1 Chip in your macOS machine or iOS 15 on iPad, you can use Ethereum inside Safari using our prototype fork of MetaMask
At a high level, our goal with the Safari Wallet project is to bring Apple & Ethereum closer together. We believe Apple is the only large technology company with sensible incentives: they want to sell you great objects, not rob you of your sleep. Apple usually gets lumped together as part of FAANG:
FAANG is an acronym for the five most popular and best performing tech stocks in the market, namely Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Alphabet's Google
Facebook, Amazon, Netflix & Google sell algorithms. Apple sells products. That is why we feel Safari is the best browser in the world: it does not try to steal your attention—it protects it.
JankyMask & Safari Extensions
Dimitar Nestorov forked MetaMask and placed it inside a basic Safari Extension. I have tested it on iOS, iPadOS & now macOS Safari. It is NOT audited and has MANY glitches. You can try it out here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/ORBbu7oy
It is so refreshing to leave Chrome behind and use Ethereum inside Apple’s ecosystem. It feels great to be using a fast, native browser that is built for speed instead of adverts.
iPadOS is extremely popular among older generations and students who cannot afford a full MacBook. We are excited to see people using JankyMask there and look forward to fully building it into Safari Wallet.

We are a passionate community of Ethereans, designers, engineers & community organisers. We are trying to create an open source interface between the world’s biggest company and the world’s most widely supported programmable protocol.
Apple & Ethereum should work together. Help us make that happen:
