The Balance Test Quest ⚖️
A lot of people keep asking me how they can help. One of the most important functions we need today & every day is a really active community of testers. I want to explain what we need from testers.
We art starting to grow our community of dedicated testers. We need people who want to put our product & many others through its paces. If you want to join us, here are the things we need help with:
Level 1: Try 10+ iOS Safari Extensions
Figure out how all of the extensions work and find the ones you love
Apple introduced Extensions to the mobile web less than a year ago. This is a totally new medium for software creation. No one knows about them. Regular people are not using them yet. This will change, but it will take some time.
If you could try out all of the iOS Safari Extensions that interest you and let us know what you think, that would really help us. You can start here:
Click this link to open the App Store for iOS Safari Extensions
Here are some of the ones that I have been experimenting with:
Level 2: Try 10+ Ethereum Wallets for iPhone
Download them, send Ether in, connect to dapps, explore multiple Ethereum networks
I am constantly testing new wallets. There is a new one every few days so it can be hard to keep up. Especially as the value of wallets grows. I need help.
Here are the typical Ethereum & Solana wallets to start with, to give you a baseline of what has been tried by other teams so far:

Level 4: Try 10+ Dapps on Ethereum
Explore how dapp interactions work on Ethereum using mobile wallets
We listed a bunch of dapps on the homepage of the Balance website. They capture the verbs of Ethereum that are not just trading. They are interesting interactions:
Here are some Dapp Links:
Wallet to Wallet Messaging for the Web3 Blockchain
Build and Fund the Open Web Together
Create and connect your world on web3
OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace
These projects are all at vary stages. It is super fun to try out a few of them and get involved in their communities. If you are really curious about dapps, you can check out some more directories here:
Level 5: Bridge Assets to 10+ Ethereum Networks
Get familiar with the state of bridging, Layer 2, sidechains & how to move assets over
One of my favourite dashboards to check up on is L2Beat.com. It covers the rise of networks that live on Ethereum’s security layer in some way.
There are a bunch of services that you can use to bridge assets over. This is a fancy term for transferring assets from one network to another. All these networks use Ethereum for security. They usually comply with most of the Ethereum Virtual Machine’s specification which makes it simpler for dapp developers to deploy their dapp there.
Here are some popular bridging services:
There are so many more of these. You can find a bunch at:
Testing all this is testing
I really admire great testers. They relentlessly push through product flows.
If you can explore all 5 levels of our Balance Test, you will be an Ethereum Jedi. We will be covering gas & rewarding testers in $LFG.
