🧙♀️ Watch this Kid Code with AI 😍
Seeing children pick up these new technological lego bricks is so inspiring
Coding with Cursor, a new development tool which uses AI, has been a hot topic among programmers with mortgages.
The kids don’t care—they just try stuff.
Watch this 8 year-old craft a Harry Potter chat app using the latest model from Anthropic is genuinely magical 🪄

Hand coding is starting to feel like Woodworking
I admire people who can make a piece of furniture with a chisel. But we all know IKEA is what fills the worlds’ homes.
Programming is going through a similar awakening: manufacturing code with AI-driven code-completion & architecture is getting wilder every day.
One of the buzziest demos of this space came out a few months ago:
You can feel the shift in tooling ripping apart everything we thought we knew about software engineering.
The thing that makes me most excited?
More People Can Shape Software
When I was applying for University, I was told I could NOT apply for computer science without Physics or Maths.
This is how we have ended up with so many autistic software engineers. People who love design & culture were not welcomed into higher education.
I cannot wait to see what people who feel more of the human experience end up making when the barrier is not a critical engineer.
The kids are going to be alright.
